A copy of the restraining order that Lynne Spears filed against Sam Lufti has been revealed and she makes some heavy accusations against Sam. Lynne's declaration to the court centers around the evening of January 28th, when she and a friend named Jackie went to Britney's house for an intervention. They found Britney speaking like a little girl. It was then that Sam opened up about the drugs he was feeding her. Lynne says, "Sam told Jackie and me that he grinds up Britney's pills, which were on the counter and included Risperdal and Seroquel. They're anti-psychotics, used to treat schizophrenia and bipolarity. "He told us that he puts them in her food and that that was the reason she had been quiet for the last three days. She had been sleeping. The doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could give her drugs to heal her brain." Sam also tried to make it clear that he was in charge. He said, "I'm the one who spends 24-7 with your daughter. I sleep in cars outside her house so she can't leave. You people throw everyone under the bus. If you don't listen to me I'm going to make your name (crap) in the papers. He has cut Britney's home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything." Lynne says she witnessed Sam yelling at Britney, and it was pretty intense. She goes on to say, "Sam had told Britney that she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore, that she cares more about Adnan than she cares about her kids, and that she does not deserve kids." Sam also told Britney that Adnan is gay. According to Lynne, Sam bragged about being in control of Britney's life. He told her, "he is the one who receives Britney's checks and that one of them was for me. I told Sam that I hadn't gotten any checks from Britney. Sam then told me that they are in his car. He told me that if he weren't in the house to give Britney her medicine, she would kill herself. If you try to get rid of me, she'll be dead and I'll piss on her grave." Lynne also says that Britney was in an agitated state all night, and changed her own clothes as well as the clothing on her three dogs several times. Lynne says that Sam tried to get Britney to do tequila shots, and attempted to get everyone to do a toast with wine, but Britney refused to drink. And before taking her to the drug store that night, Sam took her upstairs and gave her drugs to, "make her more light-hearted, happy and fun.”
Kanye West has a book coming out called "Thank You and You're Welcome". The publisher describes it as a collection of, "the creative, humorous and insightful philosophies and anecdotes used in creating Kanye's path to success." If you're wondering just what kind of insight you can get from Kanye, he posted three pages from the book on his blog. Here are some of the philosophical highlights. On a page titled "Get Use to Getting Used", he writes, "To most people, the saying 'to use someone' carries a negative connotation. But I don't see it that way. To 'mis,' 'over' or 'ab'-use someone is negative. To use is necessary. And if you can't be used, you're useless." Then, on a page titled "The Missing Banister Theory", Kanye gets even deeper, "When walking down the street, you can walk in one line perfectly without ever falling over. Now take that same city block, make it a foot wider and then put it a hundred stories high. "You're going to be so focused on the fact that you don't have a banister that you're more likely to fall because of it. When you're so focused on what you don't have, you won't have." And finally, on another page, which is titled "Be Leery of the Free Gift Bag!", Kanye warns us not to accept freebies. He writes, "I asked someone to do a part on my album…He agreed and said, 'I'm not even going to charge you,' as if he was doing me a favor. 'But when I'm working on my album, I want you to do a verse for me.' I responded with, 'No! I want to pay you for what I asked you to do and we'll talk about that verse when the time comes. Thank you and you're welcome!'"
David and Victoria Beckham are about to follow in Madonna and Angelina Jolie's footsteps. David was so moved by his recent United Nations trip to Sierra Leone that they have decided they want to adopt a little girl from Africa. David already asked his good buddy Tom Cruise for advice, since Cruise's first two children, with Nicole Kidman, were adopted. "Adoption is something David has been talking about for some time," said a source. A rep didn't confirm the story, but she didn't deny it either. Said the spokeswoman, "They both publicly have said that while they admire people who go through the adoption process, their focus is raising their own three boys."
Eric Dane was diagnosed with skin cancer just last month. After successfully having treated the disease, the actor is now opening up about his struggle. He first detected something was wrong when he looked in the mirror and saw what looked like chapped lips but clearly wasn’t. “I went to my dermatologist,” Dane says. “He said it was malignant tissue caused by sun damage." The malignancy was treated by freezing the cancerous tissue off with liquid nitrogen. Unfortunately for Eric, the actor had a severe reaction to a cream given to him for his lip after the treatment. “My skin is very sensitive and my lip was traumatized by the procedure I had to go through.” Thankfully, though, Eric is better now. |
