In the Hot Rumor of the day, in a recent interview, executive producer Marc Cherry hinted that something bad was in store for Nicollette Sheridan's character, Edie Britt on "Desperate Housewives." He said, "Edie is going to cross a huge moral boundary that she's never crossed before on the show, and it will have devastating consequences for her and lead to a shocking conclusion to her time on Wisteria Lane. That's all I'm going to say." Finally, after the long writers’ strike, "Desperate Housewives" will return this Sunday. There will be seven more episodes this season including two, back-to-back episodes on May 18th, which will serve as the fourth season finale.

It was only 5 days ago that Beyoncé was celebrating her marriage to Jay-Z. Now, rumors are swirling that they could soon have a baby on the way. The major tabloids and entertainment shows say close sources are confirming Beyonce is showing signs of maternity mode. Who knows what that means? It sounds like Nick Lachey is headed for another very public break up. According to The National Enquirer, he is on the verge of breaking up with Vanessa Minnillo. They claim Nick is fed up with Vanessa pressuring him to get engaged. Last month the two "sat in stone silence for more than 30 minutes after having what appeared to be an argument." Another source claimed they wouldn’t be surprised if "Nick is sick of her." Nick’s rep says that the story is "not true," adding, "They are 100 percent together and fine and in love."

Hugh Hefner got an early birthday surprise the other night when he and girlfriend Holly Madison entered his penthouse at the Palm in Vegas to be greeted by Pamela Anderson, who was stark naked except for a pair of high heels. "She was holding a cake, walked over to him, tussled his hair and wished him happy birthday. Pam wasn't paid to do it, she just wanted to show her love for Hef. The stud turns 82 today.

Last place became last dance for Adam Carolla on "Dancing With the Stars." He and two-time champ Julianne Hough were eliminated during last night’s results show. Julianne is to kick off the Indianapolis 500 May 25th by singing the national anthem.
