Today’s Hot Rumor of the Day may be familiar, but it has some weight behind it. Beyonce and Jay-Z may finally be ready to tie the noose. They took out a marriage license in New York yesterday morning. It's valid for 60 days. Beyoncé's rep had no comment. Jay's couldn't be reached. Beyoncé and Jay have been dating since 2002. He's 38 and she's 26. They have told friends they would like to marry in May after Jay-Z’s tour with Mary J. Blige ends. Just remember, the license was obtained on April Fools Day. I’m just saying!

"American Idol" contestant David Cook was hospitalized for heart problems after last night's performance show. Apparently, his heart was palpitating at a high rate, and his blood pressure was up as well. This all started happening before the show even ended, but Cook made the choice to wait until the show was over before going to the hospital. He reportedly is concerned about his brother, who is being treated for cancer. As if the David Cook emergency wasn't enough, Ryan Seacrest suffered his own injury last night. Ryan ran into a wall and smashed his knee.  He was treated with ice packs and gimped through the show.

Derek Hough from “Dancing with the Stars” was hospitalized yesterday with a neck injury suffered during a rehearsal. When it happened, he was dancing with his sister Julianne Hough and Mark Ballas. As he threw his head back he cracked his neck. This season his partner is Shannon Elizabeth. He was taken to a Los Angeles hospital in an ambulance for an exam and observation.  He was later released. By the way, Steve Guttenberg was voted off last night.  It's true. This was no April Fool's joke.  Goodbye, Gute.

Last week, T.I. agreed to a plea deal on federal gun charges. And as part of the deal, he's no longer under house arrest at least technically. According to his lawyer, T.I. is now, occasionally, allowed to leave his house. The lawyer says, "He is in what we call a home detention program which means that he has a curfew." T.I. has to be at home from
11:00pm to 6:00am or, on days when he has work commitments, from 1:00am to 8:00am. Outside of those hours, T.I. is free to do whatever he wants, but he can't leave town, unless it's for work or community service. In addition, a court-approved monitor is with him at all times. T.I.'s plea deal requires him to do 1,500 hours of community service, which he'll spend speaking to kids about the dangers of guns and drugs. He'll also have to serve a year in prison, but he won't begin that sentence until next spring.

311 and Snoop Dogg are teaming up to co-headline a summer tour. It'll kick off on June 24th in
Phoenix and run through August 3rd in Austin. They will be coming through Hampton Roads on July 22nd at the Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater. Nick and Shaggy says it should be called the “Go Green Tour”. Ha!
