In the Hot Rumor of the Day, "Marie Claire" magazine is reporting that George Clooney and his girlfriend, Sarah Larson, are getting married at George's home in Lake Como, Italy this summer. They have been together over a year and Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor has never taken any woman on the red carpet with him as he did Sarah at this years Academy Awards. However, any talk of George being engaged has been highly exaggerated. His rep says, "These reports are not true."

Juvenile didn't attend the funeral of his slain 4-year-old daughter in South Carolina during the weekend. Juvenile's daughter Jelani, her 11-year-old half-sister and their mother were buried Saturday in James Island, S.C.. The mother’s 17-year-old son has been arrested for shooting his three family members. Juvenile's representative said he stayed away because he didn't want to create a media circus. I’m sorry, but that’s a poor excuse. What a shame!

Last night Justin Timberlake inducted Madonna into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. JT got a little sexy with a litany of sexual innuendos about "inducting" her and "entering her hall," then insinuating she'd once kissed someone he "might or might not have dated" (we can only assume he meant Britney Spears, and he also called her a "Madonna wannabe" one of the many), he got down to the facts: Madonna owns 47 top-40 hits and her JT-produced Hard Candy CD is on the way. Once she picked up her prize, she began her acceptance speech, thanking everyone from her first ballet teacher to early detractors to a laundry list of top-notch songwriters and producers she's worked with throughout her career, but not her husband, Guy Ritchie, at least not by name.

Britney Spears has a new job! She will appear on an episode of the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother". At the moment, it's just a one-episode gig, and it'll air sometime in April. Her character is described as, "sweet and friendly and scattered and a little nerdy." Meanwhile, at a court hearing yesterday, Britney was given a $1,500-a-week allowance. Of course, it comes out of her own accounts, and she'll access it via a debit card. The allowance was sought by an attorney for the firm overseeing the conservatorship of Britney's father, Jamie Spears. The attorney told the judge the money would allow Britney to "enjoy herself and have some freedom of choice.”
