There is a Hot Rumor of the Day that has a Hollywood legend involved in a sex tape scandal. Marilyn Monroe may have been involved in a sex tape and the FBI is even involved. The film was supposedly shot in the early 1950s, just before Marilyn had become the international sex symbol she remains to this day. It's 15 minutes long, black and white, with no sound. It features Marilyn, fully clothed, on her knees, giving a certain type of pleasure to a man whose head remains out of the camera frame throughout so his identity is never revealed. In 1965, three years after Marilyn died of an overdose in 1962, the FBI was tipped to the existence of this tape. An informant showed them the tape, and told them that Joe DiMaggio had once offered to buy it from him for $25,000, just to keep it buried. Joe and Marilyn were married in January of 1954 and divorced before the end of the year. FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, who was a fierce opponent of the Kennedy clan, had it confiscated, and for two weeks, he had it examined for evidence that the man in the film was either John F. Kennedy or his brother, Robert F. Kennedy. Obviously, they couldn't prove that and the film remains classified by the FBI to this day. Or so the story goes. However, the informant who originally gave the tape to the FBI and nobody seems to know who this character is supposedly made a copy of it before he turned it over. Now we flash forward to the present: Memorabilia dealer Keya Morgan says he learned of the existence of the film while researching a documentary on Marilyn. He found out that the son of the informant still had the copy, so he got in contact with him. Morgan watched the film and confirmed it was indeed Marilyn Monroe. Last month, he brokered the sale of the film to a, "wealthy New York businessman" for $1.5 million. Unfortunately, this guy's plan is to never let you see it. Morgan says, "He said he's just going to lock it up. He said, 'I'm not going to make a Paris Hilton out of her. I'm not going to sell it, out of respect.'" We don't know how much of this is true or if any of it is true, for that matter. Nothing in the declassified document points to the actual existence of the Marilyn Monroe sex film, but it's obvious that the FBI spent some time investigating it.

Pete Wentz wrote to MTV just a few days ago, addressing the then "rumors" his fiancée, Ashlee Simpson, was pregnant. Here's what Pete wrote just days ago: "There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood. This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover… I mean really, this is crazy…we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it." Well, now OK! magazineclaims it has the "exclusive" news that Ashlee and Pete, are indeed expecting their first child, due in October. A friend of the couple said: "They don't spend a minute apart if they can possibly avoid it and are over the moon about the baby." As for the wedding plans, things have obviously been stepped up. "They're planning on something in the Santa Barbara area probably by the end of May," the friend says. "Ashlee would like to walk down the aisle before she's showing." As for her maid of honor, obviously it will be Jessica Simpson, and according to Ashlee, she thinks she'll be returning the favor sooner rather than later. "I don't think Jessica and Tony Romo are that far behind."

Tonight on "American Idol," David Cook will have a special guest in the audience, his older brother who's suffering from brain cancer. Remember that prior to the performance show on April 1st, David had an anxiety attack and was hospitalized for heart palpitations and high blood pressure. Obviously, he’d been worried about his 36-year-old brother, Adam Cook. Adam will be able to make the trip from Indiana to Los Angeles, but his condition is so severe that doctors wouldn't permit him to fly on a commercial flight. Instead, he'll take a private jet complete with a medical staff. In all, the cost of his trip was nearly $80,000. And in case you're wondering, the "Idol" producers did not foot the bill. The money was actually raised by Adam's friends, a local councilman, and a local radio station in Indiana.

Last week, as you may recall, Rihanna got a tattoo of some stars on her back. Well, we hear that her I’m-not-dating-him-boyfriend, Chris Brown, also got a tattoo. But not in the typical place, it’s allegedly somewhere on his private area. We don't know specifically what parts of Chris Brown's groin were tattooed, or what he got inked down there!
