Patrick Swayze's doctor has confirmed that he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  Some reports say he has been given only five weeks to live.  Others say you typically only get six to nine months. His personal physician says, "Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the time frame of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue.  We are considerably more optimistic."  His rep said, "Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time, which includes working on upcoming projects.  Even Patrick's mother, Patsy Swayze said "I don't really want to talk about it, but I know he's sick. But he has great doctors and a great prognosis." Patrick is 55 years old.

The casting is set! Rapper Gravy (his real name is Jamal Woolard) has been tapped to play the late Notorious B.I.G. in Notorious, the upcoming biopic based on Biggie's life and death. Gravy is perhaps best known for being shot in the butt on his way to a 2006 radio interview in
New York. Gravy gutted it out, finishing the interview before going to the hospital. Angela Bassett will play Biggie's mom, Anthony Mackie (from We Are Marshall) is cast as Tupac Shakur, and Derek Luke (from Antwone Fisher) will play Puff Diddly Pooh, opps I’m sorry, I mean Sean Combs.

In separate interviews on Tuesday, Fat Joe and Papoose both told their side of what happened in that
North Carolina hotel room last week. Papoose said that before this incident, he never had beef with Fat Joe and he doesn't know how he got pulled into Joe's feud with 50 Cent. He said, "I never spoke nothing about Fat Joe, I never made one single comment about this dude. 50 got an office right across the street from MadisonSquareGarden. This dude knows where 50 Cent is at on a constant basis. Why didn't he go over to 50's office and ask him if he had a problem? What makes him think he can come over to me like that and he's not gonna get punched in his mouth like he did?" But Joe said Papoose brought himself into the beef. He said, "The point is this. 50 Cent got 30 cops with him all day. Papoose is on the radio with 50 Cent and he's laughing and he's disrespecting Fat Joe, and I had to see Papoose the next day. I had no choice but to ask dude if he had a problem, 'cause he was acting like he did." Naturally, they have quite different accounts of what went down from there. Papoose said, "I responded, 'do you have a problem with me?' He responded 'yeah'. That's when everything popped off. Yes I two pieced him in his mouth and I don't know why he's denying it. The dude is running around fabricating this." Meanwhile, Joe remembered it like this, "All I wanted him to say was he don't have a problem with me, but instead Pap said, 'Why? You want it to be a problem?' We pounded him out. We pounded his DJ out. His DJ went to the hospital. His right hand man, his lip looked like a 18 wheeler tire. He ain't even swing back. He's balled up in the corner. I'm thinkin' he learned his lesson but I'm noticing now, you gotta really comatose these dudes for them to really learn." Fat Joe has a new album coming out next Tuesday called "The Elephant in the Room".

Oprah Winfrey has been fooled again! Remember last time she endorsed the author for “Million Little Pieces” and it turned out to be a fraud! Well it happened again. “O” magazine recently gave rave reviews to the memoir “Love and Consequences” by Margaret B. Jones. It turns out that Jones is actually the well-to-do Margaret Seltzer from
San Fernando Valley and her book about her experience as a biracial gang member is a work of fiction. As a result, her publisher was forced to recall 19,000 copies. Poor Oprah.
