We told you the rumor last week that Kanye West and his fiancé Alexis Phifer were secretly married. Well in today’s Hot Rumor of the Day, it couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, Kanye actually broke up with her recently. He didn’t even give Alexis a reason, except to say, “It’s not going to work out” and then he actually asked for the engagement ring back!
It’s happening again, another hook-up from this season’s “Dancing With the Stars.” This time it involves Shannon Elizabeth and her partner Derek Hough. Here are pictures of them on the beach in Malibu. That’s not exactly the fox trot or the mambo, is it?
Foxy Brown was released from prison on Friday after she served eight months of a one-year sentence for violating her probation. An hour after her release, she told MTV News that she thought her sentence was way too harsh. She said, “If you really, really, really look at the situation, I did not deserve a sentence that harsh. I really didn’t.” She was originally sentenced to three years probation for assaulting two nail salon stylist over a $20 manicure. However, Foxy did get out just in time to promote her new album “Brooklyn Don Diva” which will come out on May 13th. She’s also trying to get herself a reality show.
Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James were hit by a drunk driver in Gloucester, Massachusetts on Friday night, but they are okay. According to police, they were being driven to their hotel when a station wagon crossed into the opposite lane and hit them head-on. 64 year-old Lucille Gatchell was behind the wheel and ended up blowing a .20 on her breathalyzer text which is two and a half times the legal limit. The cop who loaded her in his squad car asked if she knew who she hit and when she said no, he told her she ran into Sandra Bullock. She started laughing and giggling saying, “My first drunk driving and I hit Sandra Bullock.” No wonder she was laughing, she was still drunk!
 
Less than two weeks after their wedding, Beyonce and Jay-Z had their first public fight at a Barack Obama fundraiser in L.A. A DJ put on Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love” and Jay-Z decided he would grab the mic and say, “F*** that, sorry B, but f*** that, let’s play something else!” B didn’t find that too funny and shot him the look that kills and then stormed off. Jay apparently meant it as a joke, but she demanded to know what the hell his comments had been about. She was throwing her hands up in the air and not looking very happy, but they did restore peace and were smiling and holding hands, “in the interest of diplomacy” I presume.
