Ok, so I totally stink at Blogging. My apologies! It really has been too long…and my life has been super busy lately! Just quick little updates…
I didn’t do anything for Halloween…I know I am totally lame. I just couldn’t muster up the energy to find a costume and do that whole who-ha. Anyway, like I said, I know I am SO lame, but it is what it is. I’m sure next year I’ll step up to the plate and do something fun and exciting. I did pass out candy to the kids in my neighborhood! When I ran out of candy I started passing out my 100 calorie chocolate bars…to which my boyfriend Joe informed me was even more LAME! Whatever, chocolate is chocolate in my opinion! Right?? Crap, now I’m going to be known as the “lady who passes out diet food on Halloween, aren’t I?! Anyway…
My best friend Melody who was in Korea for over year finally made it back to the US and to visit me in my new condo! I was so incredibly happy to see her! She’s like a sister to me, we’ve known each other for ages and she knows EVERYTHING about me! There are some people that you just can’t see your life without and she is one of them. While she was here I took her to Catch 31 & out to eat to a bunch of different places. The next time I’ll get to see her is over Thanksgiving…and one of our traditions is to eat Thanksgiving dinner, go out, come home and have Thanksgiving dinner leftovers at like 3 in the morning…it’s the BEST. You should try it, I highly recommend it.
As for this weekend I think my brother is heading into town. Mister last minute called me today saying that he is thinking about coming tomorrow. I hope he decides to come because I always love spending time with him! He and Joe (my boy toy) get along really well. My brother actually likes to call Joe more often than he likes to call me! Anyway, my brother is in his last year at VCU so it’s only about a hour and half drive for him (with the way he drives) It’s nice having him relatively close by.
